The Faith Friendly Business Directory extends those purposes into the area of commerce. This is in keeping with a historically consistent interpretation of Galatians 6:10, which states: “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” KJV
Over the centuries Galatians 6:10 has been interpreted as not only an encouragement for people of faith to fellowship together but also to enterprise together on the premise that, if you are doing business with one who tithes, the act of commerce itself will aid in building up the church.
A “Faith Friendly” business is a business or organization that welcomes individuals of faith as customers. A Certified Faith Friendly business is one whose owner or official spokesperson has taken the Golden Rule Pledge, i.e. they have pledged to treat others as they wish to be treated.
The FFBD helps locate businesses and organizations that have promised to be guided in their interactions by the Principles of the Golden Rule, to treat others as they wish to be treated.
All Faith Friendly businesses are eligible for a FREE listing in our Faith Friendly Business Directory (FFBD). The listing includes the name of your business, address and telephone number.
With Tap to Call, individuals viewing a listing on a smartphone can tap the phone number and their phone will call the business. Tapping an address in a listing opens the phone’s navigation system to guide the customer to your the business.
Optionally, the greatest impression for a business would be to add an image slider next to the business listing.
